Biosolids Enquiries and Issues Handling Process
Biosolids are a useable product of the wastewater treatment process, however, their production or use may be considered offensive to some members of the community. The recording and reporting of biosolids complaints is a condition of our licence from the Department of Environment and Conservation (DEC). Therefore the Water Corporation has developed a Biosolids Enquiries and Issues Handling Process, that must be followed, to ensure the Water Corporation’s legal, social and political obligations are met.
